Our Vision is to produce amazing, natural images of today's
senior reflecting the
personality and essence of each 17 year old we photograph.
This is a great period in your life to record
memories. The goal is to create
portraits that express your uniqueness.
We want to make each of our
seniors feel comfortable being themselves.
Suggest any ideas you have
that will showcase your personality and bringing any props you have, may also help.

Style,
Technique, and the Quality of our work is what sets us apart
Typical senior
sessions are a mix of traditional poses and a fashion shoot. We try to go for a few
more dramatic angles and
perspectives. A few tilted pics are included in each session.
We are fast paced and get done what we can in the allotted
time, snapping lots of frames in a short time period. We
are unique, fun, stylish, exciting, smart and creative (yea right!). All sessions are laid back and
we always hope to have a fun session. If nervous, we try to get you relaxed. A high priority
is for us and the senior in having a fun session!

YOURS and OURS -- we strive to make both look great!
Variety is another studio focus for our
senior sessions. Most of our seniors are fun
and up for most anything. A lot of the gals that come, like to be " model
for the day" and enjoy trying various poses that allow
for a greater variety of looks. This helps to showcase the "other
side" of your personality. Some of our posing techniques may
not feel the most natural or comfortable pose, but trust us, they will look natural and great.
Est. 2003. We use Canon
professional digital cameras. We are an entrepreneur trying to establish an emerging
local business. We are not corporate owned with all the advantages of
big business. Our mission is to offer you "high value portraits with a personal touch".
We have created some outstanding
images. We had the opportunity to photograph a local Parkersbug senior
gal who used our portrait to help her get accepted for the TV show, Americas
Next Top Model (Season Six).

Items we do to keep
our costs down and pass on to our customers.
A. You
have several options to view and then order portraits from your session.
B. We use a home office
and studio setup. Costs of paper or electronic advertisement media is
very costly so we do minimal advertising and rely mostly on word of
mouth.

WARNING:
We're not for everyone. Of course, we would specifically
recommend that everyone should get their senior portraits done at Senior 17
Studio.
But beyond the most obvious reason (duh,
you're at senior17studio.com). Lets face it though, (reality sucks) everyone has different tastes and other considerations
in figuring out where to get their senior portraits. Remember "there
is a difference" in senior portraits--- it starts with Senior 17 Studio
